If you've read our introduction to Ohana ...
And agree to be abide by our rules ...
and it still sounds like something you'd like to be a part of ... Then all we require for probational members is that you try to get along with folks, and take your lead from full members. We don't care what level you are or how long or little you've played - just that you honestly feel that a casual guild like ours might be the right place for you. There's no committment on either side - we're all volunteers in this organization and it's just a game, so you can stay or go as you please. If a better match for you comes along, then please by all means grab it. Because - and this is important to us - this is just a game and we're all here to have fun. To help find out if we're right for each other we have a probationary period that lasts about 2 to 3 months. There's no rigorous testing or trials to run - we just take almost forever to get anything done. Remind us if you've been in the guild for a couple months and we haven't done anything about your membership. Once you have recieved and accepted your guild invite, we'll give you unlimited access to the members only portion of the site including the rules and conduct guildlines, give you all the rights that any full member gets short of inviting new members, and we'll get a feel for each other's gaming styles and see how our senses of humor sync up. If everything works out then after a couple months playing together we'll make you a full member with full member privileges. The only thing you must have is at least one Alliance toon on the Icecrown server - that said, we absolutely are not an Alliance-only guild - most of us have numerous Horde toons on many servers and love playing both storylines. If you're interested in being in a Horde Ohana guild send an in-game mail to Februa, either on the Alliance side on Icecrown, or on the Horde side on Eldre'thalas. Please let us know if you were ever a member of the guilds "Avant Garde", "Bloodhoof Prophets", "Prestidigitation", or any of the guilds affiliated with these - if so, you'll find friends in Guild Ohana for sure. If that all sounds good to you then send an in-game mail to any of Arielen, Morgase, Mahthias, Windflower, or Februa (or just do a "/who ohana" and ask anyone who happens to be on who to talk to) on server Icecrown, and we'll send you an invite. |
